The caves are large, cosy, and well-furnished, with a fireplace for colder evenings. Each cave has a different layout and decoration. The property offers privacy and tranquillity, with only a few guests present at a time. The nights are silent, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The bedroom at the back of the cave provides almost complete darkness. The presence of friendly cats on the property adds a relaxing touch. The pool is spacious and located in a beautiful courtyard. Lupe, the friendly property manager, offers guided tours and is fluent in English. The location offers stunning views of Sierra Nevada, and the nearby city of Guadix is lovely and interesting.
Felt very cared for, no complaints.

The attention to detail was impressive, with espresso coffee, milk, and even fresh eggs provided. The surroundings were stunning, with a swimming pool overlooking the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. We also enjoyed the on-site cave museum, which was a pleasant surprise. Had a great time in this unique place. Loved the pool and the spacious cave apartment. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They even took us on a tour of some hidden gems that we would have never found on our own. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and a stunning view. Plus, the complimentary goodies in the apartment were a nice surprise. it was an awesome experience!
That there was no one at the property when we arrived and we had a bit of a struggle getting in touch with the local staff. It would have been better if they were the immediate contacts instead of having to deal with the owner in a different city.

We had an amazing stay at Cuevas Almaguz! The location was stunning, with views of the Sierra Nevada from the pool. The cave houses were cozy and well-appointed. The owner, Manuel, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The staff, including Lupe, were attentive and friendly. The educational activities for children were a great bonus. a fantastic experience!
Nothing to fault.

The cave apartment was so cozy and unique! I loved the rustic feel and the natural elements. As a guest with physical handicaps, I appreciated that everything was easily accessible and comfortable for me.
Personally, I found the seating area in the apartment a bit small. But I understand that others might still find it cozy and intimate.

The surrounding natural environment, including a beautiful pool and caves converted into accommodations, creates a special ambiance. Guests also have the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen and many restaurants available in the nearby town.
